Almost got to the point of buying a pup.. fell in love with the photo on the website. Once we got there and saw the pup something did not feel right. We walked away without buying. Now reading the reviews about this kennel I am so glad. Looking back i dont think the puppy we saw on the photo was the one we saw for real. And if i think about it now it did look pretty small for the age we were given. So glad i trusted my instincts

A friend of mine adopted a puppy from Felicanis last week. The dog is now fighting between life and death. At felicanis they told her the dog was 4 months old and healthy. However the vet confirmed it was barely 2 months and extremely sick! Avoid this place if you love animals. They are trading pups from eastern Europe and they don't even provide good care of them...

Tried to communicate and request for information. Felt an unfriendly feedback and that they are too busy to take any pictures. No information nor assistance but to come by during opening hours. No introduction either. Well good luck with such attitude. I suggest it would be helpful to adjust for corona times and help people minimize their trips especially cross countries and to be a little friendlier/more professional in your communication at least.

I must change my review one week after picking up our puppy. The online booking experience remains to be good as it is easy to see a puppy and reserve it. The attention at the location was average, staff was friendly but lenguage played an effect in the way we were served, a few points on this: 1. Although reserved and pick up date/time confirmed days in advance, the dog wasnt ready. 2. I had to sign an agreement certifying the puppy was healthy, which he wasnt, said agreement was in dutch and no explanation received. 3. The employee mentioned about an upcomming vaccine, since we live in The Netherlands, we took our dog to a veterinarian who diagnosed him with Kennel Cough, symptoms developed the second day we had him at home. 4. When I required Felicanis more information on his health aside from what was in the passport, they just stop answering my emails since I had to drive all the way to Belgium again to get the puppy seen by a veterinarian, it would cost me more to drive there that to take him to a doctor here. This people arent breeders, they are traders and they should be more consious on their practices once the puppies and kittens go to someone's home. Luckly for ours, he is already taking antibiotics and getting better. I would highly recomend to be cautious when buying a pet from this place, mine could have been a not so fine experience but I need to make others aware of this kind of issues that you might be subject to.

Responsive on email, but not willing to assist in even pointing out the difference between Chartreux and British Short Hair on their site (dont know why but they are grouped together under "BSH" on their website). The story I tell myself is that if you're looking for a personable breeder that looks actively to match right owner to right pet this is not your place.

I have read the reviews and I want to make some comments. Before I do that, let me introduce my story. My wife and I live in Amsterdam and we have taken a Golden Retriever puppy from Felicanis 3 weeks ago. My puppy was sick within 3 days I brought him. He had acute diarrhea and was diagnosed with 2 parasites: Isospora Canis and Giardia. I felt hopeless and spent a fortune for the initial treatment. My puppy's health was not improving and I was still paying a lot to the vet here in Amsterdam; not to mention the tremendous stress we were in. I then called Mark, the owner of Felicanis. He immediately advised me to take my puppy to a vet affiliated with Felicanis. This vet is at Heusden and 250 Kms away from our house. We followed Mark's advice and took him to the vet. My puppy was kept in the hospital for 10 days. In these days, the vet sent photos and videos of my puppy everyday and kept updating me on the progress. We brought him back and he has been doing good ever since. One thing I would like to highlight: Puppies are not commodities. They can have health issues. This can be due to several reasons and we can not blame the breeder for this. What impressed me the most is how Mark (from Felicanis) cooperated with me and guided me every time I called him. This is really a good practice. My experience with Felicanis has been great given the fact that the owner is always open to discussions and that he will always try to help you in whichever way he can. He in fact offered to me that I could bring the puppy back to him and he would refund the entire amount. Thank you for your cooperation Mark and feel free to forward my contact to your potential customers so that I can share my experience of being a truly happy customer! Thanks, Ritwik
