We are very happy el huarique reopened in bruxelles. They are now in jette. The food is totally loyal to the original peruvian flavours. The family is very friendly and make you feel as back in Perú. They are located super close to jette station, which makes it easily accesible by train. My favourite dish: lomo saltado.

Decent food that could use a better setting Design-wise the place looks rather cheap - white and red painted walls, plastic chairs and tables, simple settings. No visual cues at this having anything to do with Peru or even South America. And it was literally empty when we dropped by for dinner on a Wednesday evening. There’s a very kind couple running the place, barely speaking English, but very friendly and helpful nonetheless. The menu was in English as well as French, conveniently with pictures of all the dishes. The food was OK. I had a lamb dish with rice and beans, tender, well cooked and generally tasty, although nothing that’d blow me away. This might have been because of the surroundings though, since these create expectations while expectations make the taste.
Good Place to eat and enjoy a good family dinner.... 5 stars well deserved.
The best Peruvian food I've had in Belgium/Netherlands. It's also open during the day, when it's more quiet. The food tastes just like in Peru and Gustavo the owner is a great host. Ceviche, Carapulcra, Chupe, everything great. 100% recomendado, igual que en Perú
