Found this place by accident, and it is one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I had the duck and avocado and it was cooked to perfection. The different flavours and textures complemented each other so well. I am not sure what I had for desert, the waitress recommended it, and it was again delicious. The atmosphere was good and the staff were so friendly.

Uncle Richard’s or, as we call it, „URs“ is without a single doubt the best Pub in the entire Brussels region. At this point let me mention that there are certainly (!) a couple of places that come close, but it would be nothing less than a vast exaggeration to say that any of those are of equal or higher quality. It is breathtaking in what insubstantial amount of time Uncle Richard’s has become one of the true legends of Brussels‘ nightlife. Saying this, my soul would freeze the moment I visit this place on the next occasion - like a vampire would fall to ashes when exposed to daylight - if I didn’t mention the pleasure of enjoying one of the exorbitantly delicious lunches „URs“ has to offer. This place came to stay and that is good, thank you.

Fantastic bartenders and great bloke. He loves socialising and is a people’s person. Loves football and is very accomodating. Would recommend to anyone!

Good choice of beer, very quiet over Xmas/new year which was good.
It takes some getting used to and the people who run the place might seem a touch over-familiar at the beginning, but once you're on first name terms with them, you realise how frightfully friendly they are. Extremely rare to find a pub around the European capital where they like and respect you whether you're rich or poor, white or purple, blabla. Encomium finished. Basically, it's well worth plenty of visits.
