My picture don't do it justice but this panettone is really really good. So happy to live close to this amazing store that provides a culinary stairway to heaven. ️️️

Expensive low quality Italian food! We bought one arancino al ragu but it was nothing like the traditional ones, it really lacked flavor. And we also bought two different lasagnas: zucchini & 3 cheeses and chicory with & and fake truffle which were ‘ok’ but it had way more sauce than pasta. It was so heavy that it hurt our stomach We paid 26 for those three items, way too expensive for what it was!

Pros: Ready meals are tasty, and they have a great choice of italian cheese and salumeria with /- reasonable prices (not cheap but less exaggerated than the prepared meals). Promo prices are often very ok. Cons : the prices of the prepared meals are way too high, especially if you take into account that they serve more sauce than pasta. I've been there a few times and I don't feel comfortable with the way they sell : they are pushy to sell you more, they serve more than what you asked. Be careful with the prices, even if they have a great choice, a lot of general alimentation products which seem to be premium are not premium in Italy i.e Mulino biscotti, some vegetables in glass cans etc.

Been there a few times but yeah. It's like buying a carpet in a Medina. They push themselves too much. Plus, the quality of the food isn't very good. The dishes are cooked flat (don't even consider al dente) and full of preservative.
