This was an excellent choice for dinner, solid Belgian cooking at a very reasonnable price combined with excellent service. We had stoemp as filler with the mains rather than the usual chips (not an option), and we both had warming rustic dishes with beef and rabbit. Great food and a fabulous location, a double house full of bric-a-brack and momentos of times past. Well worth a visit if you are in the town.

Excellent meal, very good wine and beer selection, and good service. Very reasonably priced for the excellent quality of food and drinks. Traditional decor (which we appreciate) and benefits from being slightlt away from the main square.

Where to start? Excellent food and a large selection of drinks. A bit more up market than most of the restaurants around the square. Service was excellent and in a town where they do try to have maximum turn over it was a very relaxed dining experience. A lot of effort has gone into the decor creating an excellent ambience. Although I've tried I can't think of anything negative to say. I hope the owner reads this post soon as we hope to eat there again tonight!
Terrific food. Wonderful atmosphere. We really enjoyed the coziness and friendliness of everyone here. Will be sure to visit next time we’re in Ypres!

Great place, but remember to reserve in front. Small, cosy and totally re-decorated in the summer of 2018. Average prices, but atmosphere is so good and relaxed! I'll be back!
