The experience itself is a small view into how the beer is made together with the brewery itself. It's about 20mins of your time to read everything. After that (if you chose) you can have 1 of your choice Chimay beer. I would recommend the Gold one. I would also recommend the cheese tasting. All in all a good experience since it's not too expensive

Best place to have a beer and cheese and buy some souvenirs...
The food is good and the beer tour is very informative for a self guided affair. The beer itself is great and the Tripel not served in the United States was a welcome surprise. The service was mixed both nice and not. We also stayed at the hotel which was a good value.
Very nice place to have a beer tasting of the different Chimay beers. Together with the beers you can order a meal prepared with the Chimay cheeses or beers. We took a tapas plate which was a rather small portion. The scampi with Chimay cheese is very tasty, but the starter version is also a rather small portion. The “paté” starter was nice and the the portion was good in combination with extra bread. Better to combine different small plates in case you want to have a full meal.
Great Chimay beer at reasonable price. The food is a bit pricey. There is not a lot to see (only reason this is 4 stars and not 5) other than drink fantastic beer... cheers! I'd definitely come back if close by but I would not drive two hours again to get here. The hotel is good, comfortable, and very clean. I definitely recommend staying here if you plan on traveling to this area.
In the middle of nowhere (as expected). We spent a night here for visiting the Scourmont Abbey, the Chimay Experience museum and having a dinner. It's a lovely place in the country side. You can reach the abbey by foot in 10 minutes via a woodland path. The dinner was good and the room too
Lovely place with all four types of Chimay beer. All courses are having some cheese or beer inside dishes. I was expecting to test authentic fondue made from cheese and beer but unfortunately didn't get it. Instead of it I bought all the ingredients and will make it at home.
Service is fantastic and I love the outdoors seating area. Both the museum and giftshop were both well stock and comprehensive. Food is delicious. I highly recommend the cheese plates.
