I went from Brussels past Vilvoorde and back along the canal. Very industrial area but past Vilvoorde, really nice area in the middle of nature. The bridge was interesting, it goes up like an elevator when a ship goes through. So when you hear the warning sound you better quickly get off the bridge... I almost missed doing it!

Useful but real ugly piece of construction made of concrete. Can stay up for a very long time when boats are passing. Sometimes even go out of service forcing you to use a long detour.

A place and bridge with quite a history
Pont plutôt pas mal pour traverser l'eau. Un peu vieux tout de même. Mais parfois on doit attendre une plombe que 36 péniches passent.
Grote keuze aan meubelen en bijhorigheden en ook heel vriendelijk en gedienstig personeel. Een echte aanrader.
Impresionante, todo un ascensor...
