A unique and old herbs shop. You can only pay in cash, everything is old, but very cool! Go and have a look and buy some beautiful herbs from the old lady behind the desk! :)

The blissful scent of herbs as you pass the doorway bids you enter the wonderful world of Vits-Staelens, a historical nature shop open since 1929! I doubt you'll find this vast, affordable selection of quality herbs elsewhere. My husband and I stopped in last autumn and I was so overwhelmed that the owner remembered me I couldn't resist to give him a great big hug! We laughed and chatted, oh how I miss wandering amongst those aisles. I usually buy a ton of stuff because the prices are so fair that the whole experience is absolutely bewitching! NOTE: I was told that they search someone to take over the shop and continue this tradition of kruidenier, serious candidates only...for anyone who may inquire they speak Flemish and he whistles while he works! CORRECTION: I'm happy to hear from the owners that they shall continue...please disregard my notice, thank you!

Favoriete winkel voor mijn grote zakken salie echt rot dat je er bijna niet meer geraakt tenzij ik met de moto kom van oosterzele maar dan moet je ver aan de dampoort parkeren door dat stom circulatieplan , zo spijtig dat we niet online alles kunnen bestellen en laten verzenden dit zou de Max zijn !!!!!
