The Van Eyck Swimming pool is simply beautiful. The Art Deco architecture is not just ornamental: you go up and around to change, and start with an overview of the pill shaped bath. Then you put everything in the lockers, go down, around again and take a shower. This is not so much a recreational swimming pool as it is a pool to swim lengths. Dress code is enforced, and there just is not much more to do. However, the pool is open almost every day from quite early to late so you can swim here before and/or after work.
