We ordered a flavored coffee and a hot chocolate, which were alright but not out of this world. Portions are decent-sized and the prices are reasonable but there are definitely better places around the city.

Very delicious coffee and not expensive at all. There were only few tables, maybe would be more profitable to have space for more customers.

For me Mokabon’s is one of the best coffee houses in Gent. Perfect in so many ways, the coffee is excellent of course, but it’s also the colouring of the interior, relaxed ambience, the coffee cups, the way the menu is designed etc, that go to make it the one. It’s about the detail.

I'm especially a fan of the cream they make themselves that come with the coffee. Super old-fashioned. Has a charm of its own. PS: If you cannot find a free table, just sit with other people on a table with empty chairs. That's the unwritten rule to find a sitting place in this shop ;)

Behrang Khaki-Seddigh

Coffee is good but the staff are terrible, not polite and you are served like they are doing you a favor. Credit cards are not accepted and you should be lucky if there's exact change at the cashier.
