It's a really nice hardware shop & staff is really helpful. You can find many useful things with reasonable price. However, sometimes you can't find few items which are shown available on their website.

I love Hubo. In fact, I go to 2 Hubo stores in Gent. However, in this store, there is a woman who works as the cashier and answers the phone who is very rude and unprofessional. My partner and I heard her trash talking about us to her colleagues while on the phone. She pretended to talk to someone about our inquiry when in fact she just held the phone down and trash talked. She also lied about the situation telling us that our order were already scheduled with Bpost for delivery the next day when in fact PostNL has yet to schedule that delivery. Imagine if we would have skipped work the next day and waited for nothing. It would have cost us a fortune missing work and wasted our whole day. Luckily for us, we received a text from PostNL that evening to schedule the delivery. Contrary to her, shout out to the two male staff who assisted us both in the store and on the phone. They go an extra mile to help and were kind.
Good place for the hobbyist. If you are looking for more specialised equipment you won't find what you need. Keep an eye on their special deal weekends. Every once in a while they organise 10-20% discount on everything. Not coincidentally on the same dates as the competition.
It was worth visiting, products were price competitive while staff needs to be a little bit more helpful it was hard to find someone to solve my issue.
