The Execution Bridge (or Decapitation Bridge: in Flemish Onthoofdingsbrug or Hoofdbrug) is a bridge and former public execution location in Ghent. Here since 1371 or earlier murderers and rapists have been executed by decapitation on the medieval stone bridge. The most recent recorded execution took place in 1585. Now it is the best place to look at the castle and make photos of it.
