Very nice place in Gent. A renovated church that has been wonderfully transformed into a food market. Very nice decor and great place for a drink. A bit on the pricey side tho.

There was nothing wrong with this place, but also nothing outstanding either. The concept is fabulous but the execution in design not so much. The price was slightly more expensive and I just don’t think it was worth it. But you get that with these places. During the day over half the stalls will be closed, so you don’t have a lot to choose from. We went to the Spanish stall. The paella was okay but certainly not the best. The holy burger thing had good taste with the fries but overpriced for the end result. The calamari was processed not the real stuff. It was very quiet inside at 2pm. So was very chill. The place is tiny so during peak times I can imagine it would be frustrating. The seating is very uncomfortable and feels very unstable. ️Not a very good place for people with wheelchair access because steps at the front. There is an alarmed door at the back with a ramp but you’d have to ask permission to use it. during peak I think it would be difficult to move around with a wheelchair as the aisles are so small and the seating is so high you wouldn’t be at the same level as everyone and wouldn’t have a table for your food. However there is a lift for upper level but this is closed during quiet times. This is SUPER DISAPPOINTING. it makes me so sad that everyone can’t have the same experience. If you have a pram/buggy I’d say leave it at home.
The food was good, we ate Malaysian and Indian dishes.Prices for the portions were to high. The location itself is OK but I wouldn't call it a market as it is small. The restrooms were awful, dirty and damaged, and also no options to change diapers for infants.
Well it's definitely still there, but a little hard to find the door in, and they don't really keep to opening times, seems to be run by mostly students. There was no food available when we went so just hung around enough to take some photos, as it's a nice building. Not impressed enough with the selection to go back
I was very confused when Google guided me to this place after I typed 'vegan food' in Google maps. There are barely any vegan options? Even vegetarian food is hard to find in this place. The food stalls are tacky and don't stand out. I was expecting something more interesting. My expectation now is that this place won't last long. The drinks and food are rather expensive and the bar lady is on her phone and not hospitable at all. The low calorie cocktail bar looks funny but so, so tacky. I don't understand how someone comes up with this concept in such a beautiful city as Ghent. Save yourself some money and find one of the many interesting quirky places in Ghent. Ps the building is nice indeed.
Some OK food choices but I'd only go back for the lovely gin and tonics. Better food to be found other places. Pretty building though!
Great food options and lovely bar within a lovely venue. Suitable for couples, families and stag/hen groups.
The croquettes and bitterballen at Bubba's were incredible. I wish I could get them once a week. Also had the waffle at the Magnum store but it wasn't as good as it looked. Very cool market overall.
