The food wasn’t special, pretty oily and not flavorful like you’d expect from a decent Asian kitchen. Giving an extra star for the good conduct of the lady who took our order. I’d not visit again and my friends have the same opinion

Unfortunately I was left rather disappointed by my lunch today. The lunch “special” of a meat veg ended up being 80% white rice and only a tiny amount of chicken and literally 3 stands of bok choi. The dish itself was also a bit bland. Sadly will have to look elsewhere for good Chinese food.
Nice Chinese restaurant in Central Ghent. Its more authentic than most other Belgian Chinese restaurants, and the taste is great!
We had a very lovely experience here. We enjoyed the meals, which tasted authentic. We also like the treatment given to us: warm and welcoming. If possible, I would love to go back here for sure!
This place has excellent, authentic Sichuan good! Great service! The chicken with dropped hot peppers is excellent! See pic.
Easily the best and most authentic Chinese-Sichuan restaurant in Ghent. I've travelled to China and Thailand and I'm quite a fan of Asian food. In Belgium it's always a challenge to find Asian restaurants offering dishes which even remotely resemble authentic Chinese food. Most Chinese restaurants offer Asian-European 'fusion'; which isn't necessarily 'bad' but the taste and dishes on offer are mostly there to accommodate for western taste buds. This restaurant however, specialises in authentic Sichuan style and comes close to offering the taste of dishes I remember from China. Especially the 'Pork Belly Sichuan' and 'Fish or Chicken Sichuan Style' are highly recommended if you want to know what Sichuan Chinese style is all about. Be aware it might be more spicy than what you're used to (but still it's less spicy than what you would get served in China). Prices are quite reasonable and fair, with most main dishes served between 12 and 17. The place is quite small so making a reservation is recommended. The interior is nothing fancy but cosy, service is friendly. Because most of the dishes are prepared when ordered, expect more waiting time then at your typical take-away Chinese restaurant. People who want to know what real Chinese food, especially Sichuan style is all about, should definitely check out 'Destiny Asian Food'.
Such an little cozy and amazing restaurant!!! The food is definitely authentic and delicious with very very affordable price in center of Ghent. Highly recommend!!!
A hidden gem in Gent. The food had an explosion of taste and wasn't like any asian food I've eaten before. However, the menu didn't inform me about the spiciness of the dish I picked. And boy was it spicy! So if you're sensitive to spicy food, better ask them before picking your dish.
