Very nice food, especially the cheese croquettes. Those where really great! Prices are a bit higher than other restaurants around Ghent I've been to but it's totally worth it. Only downside was that I had to wait 20min for my check. Other from that, perfect service!

Booked this restaurant for the mussels since they advertise to own to have the best ones in Ghent. Coming down, we already noticed that the terrace of this restaurant was much more occupied than the surrounding restaurants. The menu is extensive and the staff is very friendly and could answer our questions related to the food directly. The mussels in garlic and cream are really nice and taste very well with the fries. The desserts are quite expensive, but they taste really good. No wholesaler bought cakes, but home made and very tastefully.
Just in front of Sint Baafs cathedral, the central place in our great ancient city. Good food, wide choice of drink (trapist beers, the specialty of Belgium). Friendly stuff. Normal prices. Ideal for tourists, but also for us locals. Afternoon it is always sunshine almost till the dusk. Who loves to enjoy the sun, no better place to sit and enjoy between Sint Baafs cathedral and the Belfort tower. Gent is an incredible city. Welcome!
The food was decent, price is normal (not cheap, but also not too expensive) but the staff attention was a little slow, even though the place was not super crowded. I ordered a roasted half chicken and it came with salad and fries. The fries and salad were of course very good. However the chicken lacked a little bit in seasoning.
Very good restaurant and delicious food. The portions are massive as well. It's a small place and easily gets full but it still has a great vibe to it. It's very family and couple friendly.
I ate original stewed beef with 15% of liver and kidney. It's very tasteful and special. I suggest this meal. The brasserie is also well cleaned and cozy.
Probably not the best place in Ghent, but still doable if you're hungry and passing by. The restaurant is in center town just in front Saint Sabon cathedral, it has a terrasse outside and a cozy dinning room inside. The service is quite quick and with good attitude. The food is standard, meets the function. Too bad for the frozen fries in the country where they are supposed to be the best. Overpriced for what you get, we had for 50 worth for 2 beefs and half bottle of water. Avoid this place if you have motion difficulties as the entrance is quite tricky and the bathrooms small, narrow and downstairs.
Good Food, nice service with fair prices.
