Very nice restaurant serving delicious Persian food. There kababs are a must tries, cooked perfectly over open fire. The accompanying rice and roasted tomatoes blends nicely with the meat. The Amar salad was also very delicious. However, the crown jewel of our visit was the saffron faludeh or as we call it zaffran faluda if you love the taste of saffron it is heaven in your mouth. Little pricey but worth a visit.

This was our very first experience of Persian food, the salad was the most refreshingly tasty salad I've ever tried. The other dishes were rich in flavour, saucy with tender meat. What a treat!
The website was already very clear. Easy to make reservation. Food was very good also very friendly staff! Finally an Iranian restaurant in Ghent! Good luck!
I have tried almost all of the Persian restaurants in Belgium but this one was on another level: professional staff, delicious food, nice presentation and decoration. You also have the possibility to buy small boxes of some Persian specialities like "bitter orange blossoms". The Vrijdagmarkt parking is 5 minutes walking. I loved the saffron ice cream!
Really good Persian food! Anar translates to pomegranate and boy do they use it well here! The kashk e bademjan and dolmeh felfel are amazing appetizers. I have to say their chicken djoojeh kabab is one of the softest kebabs I have ever tasted. And do try the rose ice cream, bastani - epic!

Anar had a very cosy feel to it. I ordered the Kabab Makhssous i.e. a trio of three different types of kebabs. I liked the flavor. Live music at the restaurant was definitely a plus. Rumi Vodka!
