The corona measures there haven't been thought through too well and only bring people closer to each other. I think it would have been better to open all doors of the domain when entrance is free. The bakery only had bread.

I, my wife and my parents had a great time here. Unfortunately some things were closed due to COVID-19 but overall it's a beautiful place to visit even when there are less activities such as role play. Luckily the restaurant was open so we were able to have a simple yet lovely lunch in the warm September sun.

An open air museum in Genk. Spacious and green. Absolutely worth a visit. A large parking makes it easy. There is also a brewery where one taste beer. It’s a large place and needs about 2-3 hours to see the entire place. It’s a kid friendly place and fit for a family outing.

Very tranquil open air museum with small hamlets of historically accurate reconstructions of old Flemish farmhouses and country living. Loads of activities for children, while remaining interesting and engaging for adults as well. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

A pretty nostalgic place for anyone who's interested in the older ways of crafting and the games played during the previous century. Lovely to walk around and bask in the presence of nature. Sadly due to Covid, not everything was open as it should've been, but that's to no fault of the people who work there.

Although it was very cold it was a very nice experience. Enjoyed the walk, the light installation, visiting the 60's exhibition and the street food. Definitely visit. I will definitely go back in the summer too

Bokrijk winter night review: you're basically being asked to pay admission for a carnival. That said, the fireworks were better than expected and the fire parade short but sweet. There is a fire show going on twice a day; but it's not worth waiting for - I've had the impression even I could make something more impressive than the flailings of an amateur pole dancer, a fake violist and someone waving a fire umbrella.
