Beautiful view to the river and the town from the Abbey Floreffe which is a school now. Avoid rush hour round 16u as it is the time that the school is finishing.

For eating at their \Brasserie\, is nothing more than a tavern...
We spent a nice hour here looking around because we were in the area. It was interesting to read about the history and to see the pretty view.
A little disappointed that the church which was our main reason for visiting had obviously been closed for some time
Cracking little aire, 4 per nigt as mentiined road is busy and a bit noisy but no problem. It has even gor an Abbey!!
Beware Google map directions! Great place to spend an afternoon. Amazing beer and Belgium accompaniments - cheese, bread, & sausage. If you visit soon, be sure to check out the Chagall exhibition housed in the church. And the church -- beautiful!
