Great place! I really do enjoy departing from brussels, eventhough Paris would be cheaper. The station is one of the biggest stations I‘ve ever seen. There are quite a lot of shops in the waiting area of the terminal. There is sadly no way taking pictures of the train without getting asked to leave the area (due to security reasons?) otherwise, a really friendly chap allowed us (me and a friend) to take a picture. Departing from brussels during summer (especially when its hot) is quite a pain. Trains are running pretty slow 50mph (due to energy shortage?) . But after all, its a great place to stay in case you have some spare time.

Our train was cancelled by Eurostar at the beginning of july. They promised an e-voucher in 28 days but we are still waiting for it more than 2 months. Nobody cares about masks inside the trains and staff does nothing about it. They even turned off on-board wi-fi. Yes, it's a hard time for big companies but how about people? Do we have to be fine with our stolen travels, time and money? Thank you, Eurostar!

I was pleasantly surprised with the security area and the other facilities at the Eurostar terminal. Even though the line was long it moved quickly and the passing through security and customs went quick. Most of the people working there where friendly. After security and customs there where to small shops and toilets, nothing special.

Eurostar is great, they have a website where you can view the ocean around in an animation. If I could go in Summer 2021 I would.
