For me this was a very bad, time consuming and namely expensive experience. I first hesitated cancelling my appointment when looking at the other reviews but thought I could still give it a shot. I asked Dr. Ramaekers, first in the appointment request e-mail and then directly to her via e-mail, if I could get directly at her consultation the ultrasound I was just prescribed from my GP. Though she never replied to my request/question, she did automatically offer me to come over. To my surprise, it was only when she was already treating me, that I was informed an ultrasound was not possible. She lacked of the equipment...therefore I wonder,ed if I explicitly said in the e-mails exchanged with her prior to the appointment, that the whole point of the latter was about getting an ultrasound, how come did she simply offer me a spot if she was not going to be able to help me at all? Perhaps the answer is 68 euros, which I had to pay. After all, what was I supposed to do? I feel stupid for having come to her consultation, but namely mocked and tricked. I will onward lodge a corresponding complaint at the Patients Ombudsman of Belgium. Neither patients nor insurance companies deserve to pay for the whims of doctors taking advantages from expats at the EU district in Brussels. To finalize, I may also add that after receiving a very poor diagnosis (if any) from this doctor, I had to consult a different one who could not believe the kind of things she said to me.

Very unpleasant experience. Unfortunately this doctor is not client oriented, unfriendly and on top of that very expensive. Would not recommend.
It’s really sad that you visit Doctors to get yourself cured, but it was a bad experience visiting Dr. Raemakers and very disappointing. The amount charged is way beyond your expectations 75 and consultation was very poor. The medicine recommended by her lead my wife with anxiety issues and the day she stopped taking medicine she started recovering. We were dissatisfied.
diagnosis wasnt satisfactory and conclusive, i had to go back to native place and undergo therapy
