Nice fortress over Dinant. Not the largest. You can do visit in approx 1 a 2 hours. Nice exta attraction included is cable elevatot that give you access to the city. At the exit there is also a large cafetaria and playground. A nice view above the cito is also included.

Great attraction with lots of history! We enjoyed the exhibits, the stories, and especially the collapsed shelter. They did a great job making it COVID safe. And the views are spectacular!

Amazing experience, beautiful views and a lot to learn. It is extremely recommendable to go! There is a fee for the entrance but this also includes the train service down to the town

First things first : it is a must do in Dinant! Once on the top of the citadel, you can enjoy an impressive view on the city, it is really beautiful! There was this special place where you seem to be on a boat in the middle of the sea, all dark and leaning, very funny. But, it is way expensive for what it is, we paid 10 each, just to use the chairlift (you must pay even if you decide to take the stairs, so at least enjoy the easy climb ).

The citadel is beautiful and the views are amazing. The museum part is not terribly interesting. It's not bad but they could update it a bit so that it's more engaging. Overall it's a lovely spot to go take pictures and just relax a bit. There is a cafe up top with a lovely terrace so you can properly enjoy the day out. It is a bit pricey at 10 euro, but you can book online for cheaper or fain those little vouchers they give away in the restaurant that gets you a discount.

An absolute surprise. Didn't know this place existed. The large fortress, history lesson, cable car were altogether very much worth the visit.
