Very nice restaurant. Don't worry if it's on the main promenade together with the usual tourist traps, La Clef is no such thing. Their food is quite good and they have a rich selection of stakes if you like that.

Great food experience!
This is a nice but standard restaurant on the sea front. It has a covered area on the promenade if the weather is good which we liked. The service was ok and nothing to complain about. I had a rump steak which was a little on the tough side but cooked as I wanted and about typical for most of my experiences in Belgium. Prices were on the lower side making it quite good value for money. In general my meal here was nothing to shout about but it was good enough and I was quite happy with it overall.

Friendly waiter, good quality food, nice location, some things are a bit pricy and should be included but at least it's transparent on the menu and said by the waiter while ordering (additional salad with the dish)
Food was good and service swift till we had our meal. The table was cleared only once I went to pay at the counter, so no chance for a coffee or dessert.
Nice brasserie / restaurant. Very good kitchen.
