Yesterday 16/2/2018 I have wasted 4 hours waiting the tram and the bus and I missed my school because of that and it ruined my hole day! Because they decided to go on strike and the decided to make it Surprise for the ppl! Or they just don’t care about the ppl or I think the Employeuse does not like their jobs so they just don’t care about or the company needs new PR! Any way don’t waste your money by buying abonnement for de Lijn try to use fiets or buy a car! And they make it hard to call and asking for information the made it cost money to call them 0,30 for the minute!!! THEY JUST DONT CARE NOT RELIABLE AND WASTE OF MONEY.

Yes, they're respectable, and they handled a good sense.
The worst experience of public transport. they appear when they want to, they change routes and don't announce or show the trajectory, the drivers are as clueless about the stops as they are of how ro deal with customers. if you can avoid this pathetic excuse of a public transport, I will suggest strongly that you do.
Customer service at front desk is so so. Dont expect anything to be done swiftly or logically. Still the only place you can go to in Ghent for public transport related issues/questions.
Trap to extort money from tourist. Their machines do not have option for English or any other non-dutch languages. Also no debit/credit card supports. After a failed attempt of buying tickets I ended up travelling in their tram. Before even I figure out from whom and where to buy tickets, I was caught buy ticket checkers. And man, they were so reckless not ready to listen to any reasoning and very keen to get the penalty fare. We were humiliated in front of all and ended up paying 214 (for 2 of us) to avoid any humiliation. :-( Please avoid them if you can.

We hebben deze week aan onze buschauffeur gezegd dat er een man op onze bus zat ZONDER MONDMASKER. Dit kon de chauffeur NIKS schelen en lachte ons vierkant uit want de man zonder mondmasker sliep en de buschauffeur wou hem niet wakker maken. Wij hebben hier onze bedenkingen bij. En ze kunnen zeggen dat ze de bus regelmatig kuisen in ieder geval DIT DOEN ZE NIET ! Op tijd komen komen staat ook niet altijd op hun agenda zeker tijdens de examen komt hij ruim te laat of 20 min te vroeg klopt dit ?! ( NEEN ) RESPECT AAN DE BUSCHAUFFEURS DIE WEL EEN MONDMASKER DRAGEN !
