I only visited their NB library building and the experience was positive. The staff was really helpful and pointed me to the resources I needed with no issues. Their weekly pass is also quite cheap. One issue I found annoying was that the access to the computers requires login credentials which you can only get after a day. So if you're there for some digital resources and you come from a different city, take that into account.

The administration is awful. I am not the only person who claims it. Especially, if you are non-French speaking international, never go there. They offer several English programms, but nearly noone speaks English in the whole admissions office. Students don't speak it either. I sent them all necessary documents, didn't receive any confirmation of it, called mutiple times, used all provided e-mail addreses, and only one personal e-mail address worked. I was told that documents arrived and are being processed. Ok, by that time I was sure that I am not going to ULB. In November (!!) ULB finally sent me the first (!!!) official e--mail concerning my application. It said that I didn't provide necessary documents and was rejected. Wow, guys, I saw how your official e-mail address looks like, it is a unique experience. People, go to VUB, they are nearby, and communication with them was fast and adequate.
