The food and service are OK. There is a cheap lunch combo option with two meals included. However, I expected a bit more, given the restaurant’s Michelin status. I didn’t identify any particular reason to go back to this place.

Back again after a 5 month gap, this time tomato piled high with fantastic little shrimps and seabass with shrimp sauce, oh and the timmermans faro a great beer, brilliant again can't wait for another excuse! - What a fantastic place, treated wonderfully great choice of traditional plates, very satisfying

Great authentic Belgian cafe. Time stood still for the last 60 years. Call me nostalgic, but I have a weakness for these estaminee’s that I remember from my childhood and which you find less and less in Brussels. The food is also nostalgic in every good sense of the word. Stoemp, need I say more? I had another classic Belgian dish: Americain (ground an prepared beef) with French fries topped off with a Geuze. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. (Visited June 18 and did repeat visit November 18, as good as always!)
Best croquettes ever tasted in our lives
Very excellent service. We arrived without a booking but a table was made available for us promptly. I ordered the Carbonade Farro which was a traditional beef stew made with beer. The taste was fantastic. Would probably have been nicer with mash potatoes or rice instead of chips but the flavour was great. Would definitely recommend.
