A very peaceful place to visit and sit down while admiring the nice atmosphere around really well preserved and clean I highly recommend this to go, it worth a visit.

A few steps from the busy pedestrian streets you will find beauty, symmetry and tranquillity. You will find the seat of the Flemish Prime Minister .
DOV:20Feb2014 'Place Des Martyrs' / 'Martyrs' Square' is the square / monument built to honour around 400 people died in Belgian revolution and they were buried in the same place. There is 'PATRIA' statue, symbolic representation of peace, around which tributes are made for the martyrs. This is a beautiful and quiet square with very less crowd. Its a good historic place to visit.
Nice square. Even better to escape the busy commercial road nearby( r. Neuve.) Summertime offers a good place to sit down and eat( if you buy it before)
