An excellent restaurant. The staff is actually Spanish and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food itself is delicious and really gives a taste of Spain. Highly recommend!

Hispania Brasserie is a nice restaurant attached to the NH Collection hotel at Place du Grand Sablon. This is a nicely decorated and classy eatery specialising in Spanish cuisine. The restaurant is operated by Michelin star awarded chef Marcos Moran. Opening hours are 10am to 12am daily. We had lunch at Hispania Brasserie during a recent visit to Brussels and enjoyed our meal here. For our mains, we tried the lamb with carrots and chicory. The dish was well prepared and delicious, the lamb tender, succulent and well complemented by the accompanying vegetables. We also tried the salmon prepared on a bed of cauliflower puree The salmon was soft, of nice colour and quite tasty, another very good main. Overall, we were quite pleased with our lunch at Hispania Brasserie. There are some nice restaurants at Place du Grand Sablon and we managed to try a handful during our trip. Hispania Brasserie seems to be up there with the best of the lot in this area of the city.

Gorgeous restaurant inside the NH hotel. The location is splendid and the decor very chic. The food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the squid ink arroz with calamari as my main, but everything was lovely (down to the croquetas and pulpo we had as starters). The torreja (French toast) dessert is fabulous. Great service and very interesting wine list.
