A great place to have a craft beer. Choices change often, so you can always discover something new. The interior is very cosy and the staff play vinyls all evening. The revival of good artisan beer is certainly present in Brussels and GIST is one of those bars serving you what is good of that revival. A well curated and sought out beer menu, compiled by the passion of the owners Jenlain & Jody who are never shy of giving you a good word of advice. Do not forget the delicious cheese&meat platter!
Quality craft beer and knowledgeable staff. Not your thirteen in a dozen pub, but real, authentic and genuine people. Did I mention that they have good beers?!
What a great little bar this is. Bartender had worked in a couple of great places in Brussels before, and now he and his partner decided to go for it. The atmosphere of the location, the interior and the music just makes you feel at home immediately. As for knowledge of beer, it's spot on! You ask for advice, they will be able to give it! Seriously, go out of your way to visit this place!
Lovely hip Belgian beer bar in Central Brussels. Nicely located in a lovely little square, the local is great and cozy, perfect for staying away from the bad weather. They feature an impressive list of turning beers, which the staff know all about. We were four friends having four different beers and a couple of cheese bowls as appetizer, had a great time and they gave us great tips to continue our evening in the city. Maybe a little overpriced but really great place!
Trendy spot to catch a beer. Great for social gatherings. But even if you are by yourself, owners are very friendly, informative, and helped me discover new beers according to my taste. Beers on tap change every couple of weeks so there is always something new to try.
We visited for DUTCH Invasion Event - I really appreciate the great selection of draft Dutch beers. Special thanks for „Elixer” van Walhalla - it was great to have it in Brussels. I enjoyed a lot the interior of the bar and vinyl music!!! Definetly going back to try „regular” day. Cheers!
