My friend and myself joined a French language course in Nice during 2 weeks with EF in august 2020. During this time we heard many complaints from other students about the hosting families, luckily we opted for Airbnb. Co-students got dinners like “spaghetti with ketchup” of very basic salads with bread. On top, we registered credit for side-activities during the trip. We had left EUR200, but havent been reimbursed since. We have requested 10x when we can expect the reimbursement. The communication with EF is very difficult, eventhough they work by whatsapp, email, telephone. Once you have a problem, you are entirely on your own and no-one from EF seems to be able to help you.

Als je zoekt naar een eerlijk bedrijf moet goede communicatie, moet je hier zeker NIET boeken. Voor geld staat EF meteen voor je klaar en zijn ze wel makkelijk bereikbaar. Gaat het om iets anders, kun je even goed tegen een muur gaan praten. Zij weigeren duizenden euros die vele klanten van hun betaald hebben voor de corona crisis terug te betalen. Goed om te weten dat dit bedrijf werkt op gestolen geld waar geen dienst voor geleverd is. Ps: Ze zijn bijna ook nog eens de duurste op de markt. Dan zou je wel kwaliteit verwachten, maar neen.
