The service was absolutely horrible. When the waiter poured the wine, he spilled a little on the table. Just looked at it, made a funny face and left. We had to ask someone else for a napkin and clean it ourselves. We then asked for some fries. She completely forgot about it. About half an hour later she saw us and remembered then brought the fries that seemed to have been heated in the microwave. Then the POS wasn't working. Then she tried with another one, not working. We had to pay cash in the end. Also, I went to the bathroom and the soap was watered down... And the bartenders were not wearing their masks properly. Even the waiters, when not specifically talking to customers were not wearing their masks right.

Nice decorations and elegant atmosphere in Callens Cafe. The restaurant is rather spacios, showcasing pantings (that one can buy) on the walls or ceilings. The food is very good, there is a menu a la carte, but also some daily choices. The prices are on the higher side, we paid around 300 eur for 5 persons, food and drinks included. It is a solid choice during weekend evenings, as after 10 o’clock it transforms into a club. It’s usually best to make a reservation both for lunch and dinner.
Nice restaurant, the food was really delicious, a lot of taste. The decor is charming. Only issue, the service. Was good in the beginning, at our main course, the staff was more busy setting up the other tables for the other service, so we had to wait quite some time before having someone at our table. We therefore skipped the desert, afraid of waiting too much, which we already had. Otherwise, good food, wine and cocktails.
Great place to celebrate birthdays in groups, you can see they're really used to it! Friendly service and good food!
The welcome was a bit awkward but the place and the service were very nice. Comfortable seats as well. Our main disappointment was that, for the price, we expected much better quality. All the dishes are quick preparations and “a la minute”(without a lot of effort being put in the dishes). Overall the food was good but, for the same price, there are far better places around in my opinion. We won’t come back unfortunately despite the pleasant personnel.
I had annual dinner with my colleagues here. We were planning to have fancy dinner then party afterwards in the same place. The food and service were fine. But.. we weren’t lucky with the DJ that night. The music was horrible. Everyone (literally other groups) was complaining.
