After 2 years staying at a Brik residence , it is safe to say that Brik cares about anything but the students, especially international, to them they are just big wallets. Expect to pay an overpriced rent for constant power cuts, toilet leaks and noisy rooms. They will constantly drag on email exchanges requesting something such as fixing your heater until you give up on it. They still have not upgraded their (comically slow) internet despite many complaints that people cannot do their online classes during a pandemic! If you are expecting a friendly, reactive and responsible landlord then i advise you look elsewhere. Brik will take your money to literally squeeze as many students in one building, making sharing facilities like a sardine-can. They will give you a cave to sleep in and any further requests made are taken lazily, especially by their technicians who also smoke in the hallways. Also care for your deposit as they will invent charges with their super creative team to make sure they keep as much of it as possible (because why shouldn't they?) I'm not sure why no one exposes Brik for who they really are so to any prospective tenants, from a genuinely frustrated student, take your money elsewhere.

Goed om te studeren! Mensen zijn vriendelijk, al hebben ze je wel liever weg als je moet praten of in groepswerk iets moet doen. Maar de wifi werkt goed, gratis water en koffie en het is er proper en lekker warm! Zeker een goede ruimte voor studenten om samen in STILTE te studeren.
