With over 60 member organisations based in 29 countries (24 of which are EU countries), member organisations are national NGOs in Europe, as well as some non-EU and EU-wide organisations, working in one or more of our fields of activity. The network is brought together by its shared values of solidarity, equality and participation. Our main aims are: - Strengthen European integration and promote fair globalisation. - Contribute to a social Europe by guaranteeing people living in the EU and Neighbourhood countries equal rights and opportunities, decent work for a decent life and the full participation of all in society. - Act as a watchdog in the reshaping of international architecture to create social change through investment in global social protection and decent work for all, and fair trade schemes. - Promote active citizenship and participation through inclusive education policies, active inclusion policies, participatory democracy and investment in civil dialogue.
