Fedesco studies, realizes and finances energy and water saving measures in 1.800 federal public buildings, aimed at reducing green house gas emissions and federal energy bills. This includes investments in the building envelop and technical installations, as well as services and behavior campaigns. Other missions include reinforcing the exemplary role of the Federal authorities applying renewable energy (in particular PV solar panels), knowledge transfer to other non-federal public authorities (cities, provinces, regions...) and stimulating the Belgian market for energy services and third party financing. Fedesco's internal customers are the federal public administrations and other building occupants.
