Classic sushi and bento flavors, with real fresh fish (you can see the display). Authentic Japanese grocery run by real Japanese people.

So I am a long time customer since years. I was happy to find this japanase shop because in belgium there is nothing really true, my japanese wife can confirm ;-) The price is always high but in those shops it is kind of normal let's say. There are plenty of choices what is good. But covid19 came and I started to use the webshop, well not working so well. But when calling shops they told me you can specify your order and we will arrange package and sent to you. we did and they kind of ping pong the call from one shop to another shop and finally at vleurgat I guess we called them at a busy moment and the only answer we receive from the frustated lady is : yes yes you can come to the shop we have here... !? but if I am calling you it is because I am accepting to pay bpost and ask to send lots of goods... OK I will buy to satsuki in lyon in France, people were very polite with me and they will send many packages directly from there. Interesting and in Belgium to Belgian citizen you guys can not succeed ... so sorry that tagawa became so rude/stressed with their own customers. But again it is ok my money will be accepted another places.

Small, not very appealing and witn an open takeaway kitchen. Nice Japanese ingredients although very limited offer. It looks like a shop in an old subway.

I hope you kindly accepted these report as our suggestion. What we are hoping is, Enhancement of online shop and improvement of convenience, then Create a group in charge of handling the entire online shop. That's it. And please hire workers who can understand English and have experience traveling the world at least. They will know what makes our heart warmer---smile. For the detail, I called yesterday to schuman to make order online, however, the worker was not ready to answer and just send me for Delta. So I called to DELTA this morning but the lady who picked up the phone was also don't know about how it works and just repeating we have to come to the shop and the other guy was telling there is limitation to send product but actually we were receiving it before...??? in the end, I remembered that we had similar experience before at the shop, in fact, they can get so many customers with no competition in Belgium, so the (temporary-belgian) workers are not really polite, just like other tourist place in Europe, even they don't need to do any effort, customer comes whatever. But at least, as a client, if you actually visited in Japan, the customer service is excellent and we expect at least be polite, because we need help to buy product in your store. I also see the online store is just giving minimum information so they are not serious to sell online, customer will come, whatever.....in the end, we ordered additionally to Japanese food store in France after our first order yesterday.

Always the same space and structure. Same rooms and same set of products since my first visit in the year 1994. An amazing sample of continuous never-changin tradition. Easy business, as they sell 4 times more expensive for the same product price in Japan. Some alternative networks such as Amazon in Europe or Bot should offer Japanese products to the locals in Europe for competitive price so that we can ignore shops selling food products as if they were in a jewelry
