The food was okay, they had a dish of scallops in garlic sauce that was very good. This place is very expensive for the quality of the food they serve... Although we did not enjoy it very much, it was fool of people who looked like they had a good time.

Marvelous service and excellent food! They say, when you're in Brussels you have to eat mussels and Big den Boer was definitely the best place for it! This place is situated in a local neighborhood but still within walking distance of the CBD. I'd recommend anyone to go at least once. Gourmet food served at affordable prices.

Ambiance was okay, though the lighting was a bit bright. Service was good. We ordered the Boullibaise and found the flavour of the broth was good but there were a lot of bones in the fish. Appetizers were served (bread and mayo). Felt quite pricey for a somewhat casual and passable meal.

Good service and excellent food. They offer a menu for 30 for 3 courses with nice selection of dishes, or al a carte, with reasonably priced, but delicious sea food.
