Very challenging “foret” course, especially in autumn when the leaves are falling...pity that the greens were not in good shape, although everything else was nice, including the hole 19 mixed plates, recommendable !

A great course with some challenging holes. We arrived as group of 6 and we did have a phenomenal time. Felt like the course needed more care and attention. Greens were good but fairway and rough was far to similar. Would I go back to Belgium again for golf. Yes. And for its food and people. Yes.

Of the two courses here at Sept Fontaines Golf Club, Le Chateau course is the bigger and more impressive layout, compared to the shorter La Foret course. The Chateau course is laid out over partly-wooded and partly-open parkland where many tight drives await, especially through the tree-lined sections of the course. Keeping the ball in play, out of the trees and avoiding the good quality bunkering is the main objective from the tee.
