I visited this place one year ago when I traveling to Belgium, Mechelen is a sweet town with peaceful atmosphere you could probably not able to find in big city, the restaurant was one of most unforgettable memory for me that I would always thinking back again, if there’s a chance I want to say thanks to the woman, she was so kind I remembered that night I almost missed the last bus back to city and she helped me a lot (with the information.) the experience visiting this restaurant was not only with good taste of food, but a friendly hospitality that brings you feel like home.

This is not a restaurant serving Indian food at all, I ordered a Chicken Madras from the menu, on receiving my curry I was rather surprised to find a chicken korma placed in front of me, bright yellow and complete with coconut shavings, my girlfriend ordered a butter chicken which was ever so slightly better than mine but not great at all, both curries tasted of fat, the ‘Madras’ only tasted of fat and nothing else, the butter chicken had a slight hint of spices but that’s about it. We also ordered a garlic naan bread, which was dripping with grease and tasted and resembled more of a garlic pizza than a naan. Without a shadow of a doubt the worst “Indian” restaurant I have ever been to, keep well clear of this place. Like another review says, I think the positive reviews are all from friends of the owner.
The meat samosa’s were tasty . Chicken tikka masala was fine, ( not sweet as in some places) but portions are on the small side. The prices however are very democratic and service warm and welcoming. Please offer different levels of spicyness, mild/medium/ spicy. Keep up the good work Dolce Delhi.
Not very great ! Need some improvement in food. Jeera Rice was not cooked properly and chicken biryani looked like veg biryani with some chicken pieces. Hope to see some improvements in future.
Only place in mechelen wer v can eat indian food. Should bring in more varieties. Taste is good. Friendly staff. Expecting more options in future.
