The park was very beautiful! Made for a great walk. The castle was not open for viewing but it was still nice to walk around the garden area. It was only 4 per person. Well worth it! They also had brochures in English as well as native languages. Handicap accessible. Dogs on leashes okay.

Beautiful castle where you can both visit the inside or the outside gardens. The interior needs to be a bit maintained, the same goes for the gardens and its statues.
It's really beautiful. Inside you will find beautiful old furniture and paintings. There is also a big library. Outside there is an amazing park.
The chateau is very nice. When you go stop and enjoy a glass of wine outside.
Probably one of the best kept castles in Belgium. Every room was furnished and decorated like you could still feel how the the old aristocracy once walked around and ruled over this land through wars, battles and charters. You'll discover huge historic paintings in the corridors e.g. the battle of Courtrai, ballrooms, authentic staircases, library, sitting/smoking rooms and bedrooms. The park around the castle is grandious and well maintained, and if you are short of time, you may consider taking a tourist train that takes you around the domain. I personally regret that I did not order a professional guide, which I would highly recommend for any visitor.
Lovely castle that can be visited inside and out. A grand park and gardens surround a central man-made pond. Shade and benches are plentiful so you can relax on a hot day. When we visited, a medieval fire festival called \Les féeries de Belœil\ was being held.
Greate location and people, Prince de Ligne
