My favorite comic shop when I’m in Antwerp. All new releases are available here, but you can also find used comics in good shape for a fair price. They sell all kinds of memorabilia (if you’re into Tintin for instance you can get Tintin figurines in his famous walking pose, the well-known rocket, the dog, the captain and other figurines). It is truly packed. Last Sunday (they’re open Sunday mornings!) I found the fourth episode of a comic series I’ve tried to complete for years now. Happy treasure hunt!

Love comics
People might think the European comic-book scene is not as vibrant as its American counterpart. Beo proves them otherwise. New releases, old collectibles, ancient series and second hand favourites: they have it all. A fair amount of searching is necessary, but the patrons are knowledgeable, so don't hesitate to ask. It's rarely empty in here, and average loitering time spans to about 15 minutes/capita. Good hunting!
