This restaurant is nicely located in the city center of Antwerp. The interior of the restaurant looks a bit run down, but the service was good and friendly! We ordered a Ruben's tosti and a Farmer's omelette, which were both very filling and tasty. The tosti was loaded with grilled chicken, jalapeno peppers and cheese. The omelette was filled with mushrooms, onion, veggies, cheese and bacon. The sides were crispy, the inside moist and it had a buttery smell and taste to it. Soo good!

A restaurant coffee place next to Ruben’s House. I had a tomato soup with (beef) meat balls and a drink. The size of the soup is small for the price but it was really delicious. I had a table at the window over looking the garden of the Ruben’s house which was nice despite the grey, winter weather. The gentlemen who served us was extremely funny and friendly which was nice. Place was busy with lots of guests. Only issue i did not understand is that you have to pay even as a guest ar the restaurant to pay for the toilette. One can pay cash or with credit card.
Neither a negative nor a positive experience. Happened to be a spot where they sell beers while waiting for the wife to finish shopping!
This is definitely not a 2.7. Tuna steak and Niçoise salad was delicious. Belgian draft beers hit the spot. Lovely outdoor summery vibe. Servers have mix of language skills, friendly and helpful.
A nice cafe/restaurant in a side street of Ruben's House. The service is bit derpy, but maybe it was just one of these days.

Fast service on a busy Saturday lunch, surprised by the quality of the food considering the other bad reviews. Had the scampi diabolique, which was delicious. Vol au vent also good.
Eat a lunch. Soup not warm. Toast very simple. Hawaii means no more then a piece of Ananas on top the toast. A pity, because really nice location and staff. To much tourists I suppose.
