They accidently forgot my 7 y.o. child on the road after a day out. And when I came to fetch him after work, he wasn't in the day care. Miraculously, my son came to me from the other side of the road as soon as he had seen me. The child had been waiting outside, by himself, not understanding what was happening or what to do next. Complaint procedure both through Koraal, child care and Antwerp city departments is a disgrace for a developed country! Koraal has the shamelessness to defend that it abides by strict rules when it comes to travelling with children... Uhu, very visibly so...:/ Children board and leave buses without individually having their names ticked off a list or their parents having to sign at pickup. Seen it myself. And every other department whom I merely asked for an objective and thorough internal research, including child care, kept sending me back to some other department saying they don't have the right authority. This kept going on until I had completed a circle and landed back at the first \authority\. You know, I made the choice not to file a complaint at the local police because I wanted to cooperate towards a constructive solution to prevent this in the future. And I only did this because in my case there was a happy ending. If this happens to you, do not do as I did. You will be treated like a joke.
