A smallish nature area just outside Antwerp city centre, located along the river. Plenty of public parking at the various entry points. It take about two hours to walk the trails, in 2 -3 tours. A nice afternoon or morning out. No amenities.

Looved this place. Saw it on the map and kept postponing visiting it, once I got there I kind of regrettee going, but as I went deeper it got better. We even saw the cows. But the best view was yet to come. The schelde river was amazing. Good place to relax and for a light hike. Still haven't seen all of it though. Cannot wait to go back

Beautiful piece of wild nature. It is a real find, as you would not expect it so close to the city. The polder has a vastness of 170 ha. You can choose to follow several walking trails that in all are about 9 km long. The ground is fairly easy to walk on, but do wear good shoes, as it can be slippery in some places. The most surprising part are the animals that walk freely over the terrain. This is also a great place to walk your dog. The parking spots are limited, but there's enough space in the adjacent streets. The nature reserve is open 24/7.

Great place to walk, even with a dog, or to do some sport. Close to the city yet it's very peaceful.
