About: Since 2008 Gröger Strijkinstrumenten moved to a spacious workshop in the heart of Antwerp, together with his gifted friend and colleague Jan Rammeloo, Guitar maker. Antique and contemporary instruments are available for purchase at the shop. Freddy Gröger’s work is appreciated by soloïsts, professional musicians and students wether it’s a simple bow rehairing or an extensive restauration and personal setup. New instruments are built on commission in close contact with the player to obtain a personal result and to keep in touch with the musicians specific desires. Inspired by the 16th and 17th-century classical makers, Freddy uses his own model with contemporary or antique finish.
