If you want to discover some great flavours in the simplest form of food this will definitely meet your expectations ! Great food, loved the presentation of the food. This was our first time for Euthopian food and the guys helped us to understand what Euthopian food is ! Helpful staff... Nice and cozy place. And that is the Size of wooden plate in which meal was served !

It was our first time eating Ethiopian food; the food was sooo delicious and filling. The restaurant was located on a beautiful location, homely decorated, relaxing music. It really was a great and fun experience! The hosts were super kind and welcoming and explained every dish in detail. We ordered a mixed tasting platter that came with 6 or 7 kinds of different dishes from the menu (spicy chicken egg, lamb stew, spicy minced meat, spinach, fresh cheese, veggies, lentils and salad). It's a nice introduction to Ethiopian food, since you can taste a bit of everything! You also get sour dough flat bread with your platter. We will definitely come back, when we're visiting Antwerp again!

Upscale restaurant, leaning toward the "too-pricy-for-what-it-is (to give you an idea a traditional style vegetarian platter will set you back about 22 euros per person, 26 p.p if you go for the non-vegetarian fair). Definitely authentic though, with a varied menu (fish dishes!). Spice level is a little on the mild side to cater to European tastebuds. Service is pleasant enough and so is the atmosphere however a warning: don't come here if you're feeling particularly hungry as the food will take a while to arrive (which came as a bit of a surprise to us as most Etheopian dishes are pre-prepped in bulk... Odd). Verdict: fancy pantsy. Had better Etheopian for half the price elsewhere. Not bad if you're looking for fancy pantsy. Still pretty delicious despite the pain in the wallet. 10/10 would recommend to anyone not on a budget.
