One of the most beautiful cathedrals on the ANTWERP. this is the place where the story of \The dog of Flanders\ is set and yes, the Rubens painting is in this church... Amazing place.

It is definitely a much smaller Kathedraal. However, the price for entry is nothing that will break the bank. It cost 6 Euros. The outside is something to behold and the inside is not bad either. Go early, the visit wont take long.

Great historical monument, worth your while, must see when you have the opportunity!

Excellent example to show the transition of northern European Catholic architecture from the Gothic toward the counter Reformation baroque. This cathedral is famous for its works by Peter Paul Rubens, but I also had the privilege to speak with Koen Theys about his new work Diasporalia, which is a profoundly moral comment about recent events, and well worth seeing if you get the chance.

The most beautiful building in Antwerpen. You can also go to the top of the tower.

Amazing mirror paint work. Craft work is attractive. But one must look at the rusted green statues just outside the church (I don't want to reveal the surprise you see there). Also the white marble sleeping boy statue under the tiles.

The cathedral is amazing and the art that it contains is equally amazing. Definitely the place to go to to see Ruben’s masterpieces. It will cost a few euros to get in but it’s worth it. There is an added bonus -there is a café in the cathedral, where one can sit and ponder the art that you just saw while sucking down a beer.

Amazing cathedral in gothic style architecture dating back to 1352 with a underground crypt, wood scuplted pulpit, and numerous paintings by the baroque master Peter Paul Rubens. Truly incredible structure and worth visiting while in Antwerp.
