Despite the tourist information centre and the Jan Plezier website stating the tour left at 11am every day this was not the case. We arrived at 10.30 there was no signage to say cancelled and by 10.45 there were at least 20 people waiting. Nobody had turned up by 11.30 so we abandoned the idea and went instead to the Red Star Line museum. I feel that if they can't be bothered to say it isn't running I can't be bothered to use them in the future.

The personnel is totally unfriendly and you can only get information during the tour and what you can see through an App. The App is TRYING to find your location with the boat by GPS and gives you information to different spots on the tour - that doesn't work at all! So it is basically just a tour with the boat on the Scheldt with a uncomfortable surrounding and too expensive drinks.

Boat can use some refurbishing. But the pannenkoeken were nice and the kids loved the trip.

Starting with expensive coffee with coffee grounds, followed by rude personal and an additional charge for the tourguide. When we got a broken one and wanted to swap them, they were unfriendly. After they \fixed\ the broken one, it was still broken and we wanted to swap. Rude words were exchange and instead of offering to not charge us for the tourguide they took it away. Well done customer service. WIthout a tourguide this is the most boring thing you can do in Antwerp. if you have the tourguide and just don't interact with the personal people seemed to have enjoyed it.

It was a decent meal but the tour is really what you paying for. I would try it again but for the breakfast tour with hopes the foods a little better.

We hebben net de overzetboot in Tisselt genomen, en een echt Jan \ PLEZIER\ was het zeker niet. Als je fiets verkeerd staat riskeer je een hele tirade van een gefrustreerde schipper, met het 'dreigement' om je van boord te zetten. Nadat ik mijn fiets verzette bleef hij nog eens verder zagen, en tijdens het uitstappen nog eens...T is er aan te zien dat het gratis is ... ik rij de volgende keer liever een 10km om dan deze overzetboot te gebruiken.
