We adopted our kitten at this shelter and cannot be happier. Throughout the entire process, we were very impressed with such clean and modern facility, as well as nice and friendly staff. You can tell that the pets are well treated here. By adopting a kitten, we automatically become a lifelong member of Help Animals and receive frequent tips and advice from their vets.

We adopted our affectionate little angel from this shelter. I can only repeat the comments of others: the cleanliness, professionalism of the people working there and the overall environment is nothing like I experienced in any other shelter. I could have adopted every single cat in this place, people who prepared them for adoption clearly know what they are doing. The below photo was taken 1 day after adoption.

A true gem among animal shelters in Brussels. The place is very clean and well organized. Professional employees and dedicated volunteers take care of their proteges and are available and patient to answer all your questions. The place to go if you want to give an abandoned animal a home. Found a lovely and well cared for cat. Check their website for their animals. For visits appointments are currently required.

Adopted our baby Happy here. We couldn't be happier with her and we hope she is too (she definitely seems like it!) Thank you so much, she means the world to us and we already can't imagine a life without her. Other than this, I can certainly say that the personnel is nice and the place is cleaned (as opposed to many shelters) and it seems that dogs are well taken care of. Thank you!

Avoid. Cats shown online are not fit to be adopted. Why are they online then?

The lady at the reception was really not nice or helpful. I wanted to adopt a cat and therefor I booked a meeting over the phone, but they left me to come for nothing. They said they cannot help me because I do not have a garden and only cats that need garden are available. They did not ask me if I had a garden over the phone when I was booking the meeting and they said it is indicated on the website. While the website clearly says some cats do not need a garden. I find it highly impolite to waste people's time, energy and goodwill to adopt an animal like this.

Not nice people. I wonder how can they work with animals
