Beautiful place, worth to spend few hours walking around, don't forget to visit the shop!

Nice place to visit. Very pretty! The only shame is that you don't see the actual brewery during the visit - only a exhibition room. Recommend to grab a beer in a nearby restaurant (with seating spaces outside).
Very nice and well kept Abbey, the ruins are preserved very well. The \museums\ are interactive and the information provided is useful. The beer and the cheese were great as well, it's a good buy. Unfortunately, during our stay the church wasn't open for tourists,maybe next time!
Wonderful experience. Rich history of the Orval monastery is well explained in french dutch and english on plaques. The process of making the beer can also be experienced through videos. Very well maintained with a cute shop at the entrance to buy souvenirs and beer!
Well organised, well guided and very beautiful. Shop prices are not the cheapest. Very beautiful surroundings!
Beautiful abbaye ! You can visit an old part (ruins), a new one is not open for visiting .monks make a Wonderful beer here ! You can buy it here for a bit cheaper than in the store. 20 euros for a pack of 10 bottles orval glass as a present . Young orval cheese is for 13 euros and an older one for 17 euros .

Really very special place! Very beautiful ruins! The whole tour is done in a very pleasant way and tells a great story. I have visited some abbeys in Belgium, but I must confess that I was really impressed by this one. I understand why the people who live nearby, come back often.
