Takes about 25 minutes per customer. When nobody’s at the counter, they send you all the way down to the car rental area. Then the guys at the counter there send you back again.
Can t put a 0.... but they are under everything qua client focus and service.... It is unbelievable that they do not care about helping clients in special situation - Business trip during a driving license swap between countries - Advice to all future clients: Do not count on anyone especially the Manager of Brussels airport counter to help you if you are in trouble. Proof is made, she does not give a dam about clients'satisfaction and will not try to find a solution for you - When I asked for an escalation she even refused to transfer my call to her superior....
We had a great experience with Budget at Brussels airport. Our flight from Dublin was delayed but the staff member waited on after closing time to make sure that we weren’t left without a car. Much appreciated!
We rented the car originally from Brussels south Airport (charleroi). Premium service really. But we dropped the car in Brussels airport (Zaventem). We witnessed very poor quality service. Rude to customers, so slow, and the way the employee talked to another customer was awful. I gently asked if the only guy working could ask for back up after 15 min wait. They said "you can leave they key at your own risk" . What kind of an answer is this? Don't rent fron them if in Brussels airport Zaventem
They charged me for an old/small scratch on the alloy wheel. Probably they have done that to others and will do so. Don't rent from this company.
You MUST avoid budget rental here!!! When I booked a car from Rentalcars, I purchased insurance in advance. But here, they don't care it and says regardless of it, You need to purhase budget's official insurance. (Therefore, I got 2 insurances which is a lot and expansive) .And they forced me to pay small extra stuff as well. If you want to read a paper of the payment, a staff pushes you to pay as quickly as possible without reading it. A staff (Almost skin head guy) turned to be anger and told me "I have another customers behind you! so sign it!!!" That's their way to make profit. I became HATE belgian people because it's the first experience during my trip. With paying double!!!
I would like to thank the staff at Budget car rental in Brussels airport! I recently rented a car for two weeks 31 May through 14 June. I ended up in Charleroi Hospital on the first day with a heart attack. My wife cannot drive a standard transmission and so coukd not drive the car. A call to Brussels airport solved the problem when the staff there enabled a tow with my wife to Charleroi airport where they were able to exchange the car for an automatic transmission. I cannot stress enough that the staff at Brussels Airport made certain that my wife would be able to drive almost immediately! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Pat and Nicole Quinn
