I’m a twice a week regular. I LOVE the place for their price/quality ratio. The food and service are consistently on point, and the taste is authentic as it gets. Simple menu which changes daily. 2 options usually. Perfect for an informal to go lunch option. If you dine inside, it’s also quite relaxing and pleasant. Quiet jazz soothing in the background.

Reasonable prices, was in and out in a minute (pickup / delivery only at the moment), looks fresh, smells fresh, tastes great... I would definitely recommend anyone working nearby to give it a try.

Great place for some authentic Japanese food, at affordable prices. Sakagura has delicious sake, \starters\ to accompany your drink too, excellent, friendly service - all in a all, definitely recommend it.

Front of restaurant serves takeaways -delicious Bento meals at very decent prices! Do check out the daily Bento specials . Restaurant is sparsely but warmly decorated; comfy and welcoming. As are the staff, both Japanese, creating lovely meals whether you want a quick Bento with tasty salads and delicious desserts or alacarte. Evening meals there are more elaborate! Ask the friendly staff for recommendations and don't forget the lovely selection of Sake. Also the Kirin beer! Food is fresh, well-prepared and service is topnotch; attentive but not intrusive. I like that they offer Bento takeaways easily if you choose not to have a sit-down meal. A lovely place that I highly recommend.

I went there with my co-workers during lunchtime to get some takeaway. We have ordered the following take outs: Mabo don (mabo dofu), Kakiage don and Kaisen don, and we were all very happy with our dons because they were all delicious! They prepared the meals fast (don't forget it's summer holiday so lunch time was calm) and the Japanese cashier was very friendly. The location might be little bit remote, meaning you don't take the street unless you really go to one of the cafe/restaurants but close by the shopping street, Nieuwstraat (just 5min walk). I would definitely visit there again! Tips for those people who love meals of the day! They have \don\ (rice bowl dishes) and \bento\ (single-portion take-out) of the day, and you can go visit their website to see it (so you know it before hand). Also they do accept Sodexo (restaurant card). My second visit I order katsudon!!
